Look inside the feature labels

For Process Lasso, Bitsum lists ProBalance, CPU affinities, CPU Sets and priorities in both editions. CPU Limiter, Process Watchdog and Power Plan Automation are trial-limited in Free. This makes a specific rule a better comparison point than a generic “optimizer” label. Check the publisher’s feature table.

For O&O ShutUp10, the free edition is portable; Premium adds ongoing monitoring and restoration of selected privacy settings. Compare manual configuration with automatic maintenance, not claimed FPS gains. See the publisher’s explanation.

When each is relevant

For broad gaming-oriented adjustments: explore Radiant’s published scope and free offering. The breadth of a tool alone does not establish that it will improve a particular game.

For control over individual processes: Process Lasso offers affinity and priority controls. Its publisher’s Free vs Pro table distinguishes ongoing access from trial-limited features. Commercial use has separate licensing requirements.

For privacy preferences: O&O ShutUp10 concentrates on Windows privacy settings. That makes it relevant to privacy configuration, rather than a like-for-like gaming performance substitute.

What this comparison does not establish

We have not tested these tools against each other. This table does not determine which delivers higher FPS, lower latency, fewer crashes or stronger security. Those questions require suitable testing on the intended system.

Compare the problem first. Identify whether you need game-focused configuration, process rules or privacy controls. Then inspect the matching product’s exact settings and licensing terms.
