- Check your starting pointNote your Windows version, relevant hardware and the problem you want to address. Keep this information with any support request.
- Review before applyingInspect the setting’s description, the access it requires and how to reverse it. If a permission prompt or file origin is unexpected, stop and consult the publisher.
- Make a small, traceable changeRecord the original state and change one relevant setting at a time. Compare the same game or task under the same conditions before deciding whether to keep it.
