Quake III in the browser
Our first check of this link never completed. On recheck, q3.pieter.com loads a working arena entry: Q3JS, a non-commercial preservation project that is explicit about not being affiliated with id Software.

A live arena with a public player count.
At our October 13 check the page showed 36 players online, a live map rotation and a play button. Those numbers move on their own; treat them as a snapshot, not a guarantee.

No. We verified the entry page, the project credits and the published player count on October 13, 2026. A joined match, frame rate, netcode quality and touch controls remain untested.
