The “Modern Warfare 2” link: what actually loads

The source reply labels this entry Modern Warfare 2. The destination does not: at our recheck it loads a playable screen self-identified as “Contemporary Conflict: Global Flashpoint”. If you go in expecting 2009’s campaign, you will be surprised within a minute.

Source / setup review

Read the name on the screen, not the name on the list.

The page we reached shows a first-person HUD with a match timer, a tied score and a killstreak counter, and asks you to click to capture the mouse. We did not join or measure a session.

What our recheck found

  • A different titleThe screen identifies itself as Contemporary Conflict: Global Flashpoint. Earlier checks of this address returned rate-limit errors, so the destination itself has changed since the list was shared.
  • A playable-looking loadThe HUD rendered without a login wall or a file picker in our check. What build runs behind it, and how closely it resembles any commercial release, is not established.
  • An unverified relationshipNothing on the screen we saw explains the Modern Warfare 2 label. Treat the reply’s name as a pointer, not a description.

How to treat entries like this

This is the second name correction in the source list — the reply’s “Unreal Tournament” link also loads Urban Terror. When a list is copied across social posts, names drift. The habit that protects you: judge the destination by what it calls itself and what it asks of you, not by the label that linked to it.

Prepare your first visit

  1. Click to capture, Escape to breatheThe page asks for a click to capture the mouse. Find how it releases the pointer before you commit to a match.
  2. Do not re-enter credentialsA browser shooter that loads without an account needs no password. If a similar-looking page asks you to log in, stop — that is not what we observed.
  3. Judge claims by the screenIf the title on screen differs from what you were promised, adjust expectations before investing time.
  4. Has Radiant Guide tested the gameplay?

No. We verified that the destination loads a playable screen and read the name it claims on October 13, 2026. Match behavior, modes, performance and the accuracy of any in-game branding remain untested.
